Who is Chef

Geoffrey

Geoffrey Tulloch’s cooking takes inspiration from the authentic Jamaican flavors of his mother’s cooking and his culinary & hospitality experiences in Venezuela, Brazil, Italy, and New York City. 

He has previously worked as the Executive Chef and event planner at Mood Food and launched his own boutique catering business in 2002.

Academia

Chef Geoffrey Tulloch has been teaching the next generation of aspiring chefs since 2006, something that he finds both exciting and highly rewarding. 

He first taught at the Culinary Training Institute and then moved onto NYC’s only Culinary Arts High School, Food and Finance High School, where he has been teaching since 2009.

Inspiring young talents

Chef Geoffrey establishes and oversees significant academia-driven programming and events that help gear students onto lucrative culinary paths. One of the programmings he has established is the annual Spring Showcase | Active Student Participants of C-CAP – Careers through Culinary Arts Program.

Chef Geoffrey’s Jamaican roots have heavily influenced his culinary career and have motivated him to create a platform that recognizes and raises awareness of the culinary arts and cultures from the Caribbean and the multi-ethnic diaspora around the globe.
